Traders included Fargo’s own Choc n Roll, Wicked Cookies, Bedouin Nights and Chocblox.

Elyse Cadden, manager of Fargo Village was pleased with the turnout of the event.

“I love seeing a range of people here because Fargo has so much to offer and everyone loves chocolate and it was great to see families coming here to try handmade chocolates and see what Midlands traders have to offer.”

Owners of Chocblox, Sue and Neil Collins produce the finest Belgium chocolate bars with various toppings such as orange, mint and strawberry. They attend various fairs across the country during the peak seasons.

“We have been to many festivals within the West Midlands and love meeting customers who are in awe of our chocolate creations. With the Christmas season looming, we think that our creations add speciality and elegance for customers.”

Sue and Neil have also attended festivals in Warwick, Leamington and Sutton Coldfield.

“Since we are a family business, we like going to other towns to see their sense of community and how people come together for an event.”

“We chose to pitch at Fargo Village as it has sophistication and brings a lot to Coventry in terms of raising awareness of niche markets.”

Elyse explained that Fargo supports creative individuals and always seek to find new traders.

“I appreciate the independent businesses we have and the diversity of shops we have, and we hope that events like the Chocolate Festival help keep the quarter bustling with people.”

“I hope Fargo remains a great heritage piece for Coventry for years to come.”
